How It Works
How ATL Ticket Exchange Works
ATL Ticket Exchange is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Every transaction happens directly between a buyer and a seller. We provide the tools to find each other and communicate — the rest is up to you.
For Sellers
- Create a free account. Sign up with your email. New accounts go through a brief probation period (first 3 listings require admin approval) to keep the community safe.
- List your tickets. Choose your venue and event, set your price, describe your seats, and select how you'll transfer tickets and accept payment. Listings are active for 30 days or until 3 hours after the event starts — whichever comes first.
- Respond to buyers. Interested buyers will message you through the platform. Respond promptly — your response rate affects your reputation.
- Complete the transaction. Agree on payment (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or in person) and transfer the tickets by your agreed method (PDF, email forward, mobile transfer, or will call).
- Mark as sold and leave feedback. Update your listing status and tag the buyer by username. Only buyers who have messaged you about the listing can be tagged. Leave feedback to help build community trust.
For Buyers
- Browse listings. Filter by venue, price, quantity, transfer method, and section to find exactly what you're looking for.
- Contact the seller. Use our built-in messaging system. Never pay before you've confirmed ticket details.
- Verify before you pay. Ask for proof of tickets (screenshots of the account, barcode, etc.) before sending any money. Once you send payment peer-to-peer, it may be unrecoverable.
- Complete the transaction. Send payment via your agreed method and receive your tickets.
- Confirm and leave feedback. You'll receive a feedback request by email. When you visit the link, you'll first be asked to confirm the transaction happened — then you can rate your experience. Only confirm if tickets genuinely changed hands.
Buyer Safety Tips
- Check the seller's BST score and feedback history before transacting.
- Prefer sellers with Trusted or Power Seller status for high-value tickets.
- For large purchases, consider meeting in person to verify and transfer tickets on-site.
- Never pay via gift cards, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency — these cannot be recovered if fraud occurs.
- If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Featured Listings
Sellers can purchase credits to feature their listings at the top of search results. Credits are purchased in packages via Stripe and are non-refundable once used. If a listing is cancelled while featured, unused credit time is returned to your balance.
Disputes
ATL Ticket Exchange does not mediate payment disputes. We are a listing platform, not a payment processor. If you believe you have been defrauded, report the user to our moderation team and contact your payment provider. For significant fraud, file a report with local law enforcement.
