Players to Watch
The Stripers roll out a battery featuring Spencer Strider and Sean Murphy - both rehabbing. Joining them is Alex Verdugo making his Stripers debut so there’s a lot of MLB talent in the lineup. Leading off for the Stripers is Eddy Alvarez who is off to a strong start with a 1.042 OPS leading the team while Luke Waddell is hitting .435/.519/.522 (1.041 OPS) on his own.
Columbus Clingstones Lineup
For the first time ever, here is your Clingstones starting lineup! pic.twitter.com/shDVeFJ0Ln— Columbus Clingstones (@GoClingstones) April 4, 2025
Players to Watch
Other than starting pitcher Drue Hackenberg the Clingstones lineup features some intriguing players to watch. Starting from the top the recently acquired Carlos D. Rodriguez hits leadoff. Carlos has an interesting hit tool and solid speed and is a candidate for the big league team should he show consistency at the plate. Long time catching veteran James McCann makes his organizational debut in Columbus as he ramps up on baseball activities. Drew Compton, one of the most consistent hitters in the organization last season, slots in at the five hole while switch hitting David McCabe hits sixth and returns to third base.
Rome Emperors Lineup

Players to Watch
Clear favorite in the players to watch department will be 21 year old JR Ritchie who is getting the opening day start. JR, one of Atlanta’s top prospects, looked fantastic in the Spring Breakout game as he sat in the high-90s during his stint.
Offensively, EJ Exposito had himself a really solid season last year hitting .238/.311/.417 and probably has some of the highest upside in the lineup. Ambioris Tavarez is a player I will be watching closely as he improved his approach at the plate significantly last season - leading the organizations in pitches seen per at bat.
Augusta GreenJackets Lineup

Players to Watch
Braves 9th round pick from the 2024 draft, Owen Hackman, gets the opening day start for the Augusta GreenJackets. With Owen’s age (23), experience, and three-pitch mix he should be a player to watch in High-A for however short he is there.
There is a lot of offensive upside in the GreenJackets starting lineup as John Gil, Luis Guanipa, Nick Montgomery, and Isaiah Drake all have enormous upside along with Eric Hartman, Owen Carey, and Carlos Monteverde all have intriguing tools making this Augusta roster one to watch.
