One day closer to Braves baseball activity. While the Atlanta Braves themselves may not be as active as many hope this offseason, there are plenty of notable former Braves who have found new homes to continue their careers. The latest is Tyler Matzek, who signed a minor league deal with the New York Yankees. Matzek, of course, was a fan favorite Braves Country for years before dealing with injuries. Here is hoping that Matzek can find some success once again.
Of course, while seeing were former members of the Braves bullpen land with new teams, the current state of the Braves bullpen is also intriguing. This is especially the case when it remains one of biggest needs for the squad, yet no notable moves have happened yet to add quality depth to the group. While that may still happen, if it does not, it is a significant change from how Alex Anthoupoulos has put together his bullpens in the past.
