Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday. It was another slow day for news and notes from the Atlanta Braves, but as always, we’ve got some season reviews and a glimpse into 2025.
Braves News:
MLB’s Mark Bowman discusses how Ronald Acuña Jr.’s return will affect the Braves’ lineup in 2025.

MLB News:
Third baseman Gio Urshela is off the board after agreeing to a deal with the A’s per report. He suited up for the Braves 36 times in 2024.
The Washington Nationals signed right-hander Michael Soroka to a one-year deal worth $9M. He will reportedly be used as a starter.
The Philadelphia Phillies agreed to a one-year, $10M deal with outfielder Max Kepler. After 10 seasons in the league, it will be Kepler’s first season away from Minnesota. The club also added left-hander Nick Vespi on a minor league deal.
The New York Mets reportedly met with right-hander Roki Sasaki.
The Texas Rangers signed reliever Hoby Miller to a one-year deal with financials not yet announced.
