There are a few free agent outfielders of interest still available, such as Anthony Santander, and obviously there is always the trade market, where we know Alex Anthopoulos likes to operate. That being said, this offseason has been conspicuously quiet for the Braves, who have often been early to pounce on at least some deals of note almost every year of Anthopoulos’ tenure. They have cut a lot of money off their payroll and to what end is still quite unclear. Anthopoulos has talked about his distaste for dealing at the Winter Meetings, but liking to use them as a staging ground for the days and weeks after, so perhaps a big move could be coming soon.
