Atlanta Braves news and notes from Tuesday. Tuesday marked a slow day for the Atlanta Braves on the news front, as we’re in a quiet period of the offseason. We are nearing the Winter Meetings in Dallas, which get underway in less than two weeks. Hopefully, the Braves’ front office will be busy as the hot stove comes to a simmer. Until then, we do have a few news and notes from the Braves and the rest of Major League Baseball.

The transaction log noted that the Braves added LHP Kolton Ingram on a minor league deal on November 19. It has been confirmed that he will begin the 2025 season with the Gwinnett Stripers.
Our 2024 season in review series continues with Luke Williams.
MLB News:
The Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a five-year, $182M contract with left-hander Blake Snell.
The Seattle Mariners have made several changes to their coaching staff, most recently locking in Eric Young Jr. and Louis Boyd.
Third baseman Nolan Arenado is reportedly open to a position change and would be willing to take over at first base.
The Texas Rangers have finalized their 2025 coaching staff under skipper Bruce Bochy.
The Miami Marlins have hired Carson Vitale as bench coach. He has spent the last seven seasons with the Seattle Mariners.
