A busy Monday and week lies ahead. The baseball season is over and it is November, which most likely means Alex Anthopoulos is active and busy looking to improve the Braves chances of once again contending for a World Series Title in 2025. Anthopoulos has already traded away Jorge Soler and reworked multiple contracts to free up a significant amount of money this offseason. A significant move or two will likely be the end result in the coming weeks.
Monday will be another busy day for the Braves and likely every team across baseball. As Justin Toscano of the AJC details here, 2025 options for Marcell Ozuna, Travis d’Arnaud, and Luke Jackson must either be exercised or declined. Atlanta must also determine if it wants to offer qualifying offers to players who will be free agents this offseason, such as Max Fried. It seems pretty obvious the Braves will pick up the options of Ozuna and d’Arnaud and offer Fried a qualifying offer. However, with the GM meetings also beginning tomorrow, it could be a busy week ahead for the Braves and all of baseball.
Braves News
Chris Sale won his first Gold Glove and was one of his 14 first time winners.
Matt Olson was a finalist for the first base award but did not win the award.

The other big development on Monday is that free agents can officially start talking to any team at 5 PM EST on Monday. That is a big reason why we could see plenty of action this week.
The Brewers declined their club option on Devin Williams, but do retain control of him through 2025. However, there is a realistic chance he could be traded this offseason.
Michael Wacha and the Royals agreed to a three year extension.
