Both of the LCS are in action this evening Last night, the Dodgers opened up the NLCS by taking the Mets out back and giving them a serious paddling in Game 1. Now, it’s time for the Mets to try to respond in order to avoid coming back to Citi Field in a 2-0 hole. Talking about doing it is one thing but actually doing it is a completely different story. Even with this being a bullpen game, the Dodgers are still going into Game 2 as favorites (according to FanGraphs’ ZiPS postseason game odds) over Sean Manaea and the Mets.
Meanwhile, the ALCS will be opening up at Yankee Stadium tonight as the Guardians will be facing the Yankees. Carlos Rodón will be starting for the Yankees while Alex Cobb will be starting for Cleveland. Will the Guardians pick up where they left off in the ALDS or will the Yankees continue firing on all cylinders as the ALCS commences? It's time to find out!
