Otherwise, it’s ye olde Braves lineup There is no more margin for error, but the Braves will deploy their usual lineup, avec Sean Murphy in the eighth spot in lieu of Travis d’Arnaud:

Pretty much all I can say at this point is that this is the hangdog lineup that scored three runs to stave off elimination against the Mets on Monday, so maybe that can happen again, or something.
The Padres are not in danger of elimination tonight, and they roll out pretty much the same lineup as yesterday, just adjusted a bit to drop Jake Cronenworth against the lefty-throwing Max Fried:

It’s hard to really say too much more here — maybe feign surprise that Sean Murphy isn’t hitting ninth?
