Did you like Saturday’s lineup? Well, you’re going to love this one. We’re only a few hours away from the biggest series of the season getting underway, which means that it’s time to talk about lineups for both the Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets. If you’re expecting major changes for this upcoming series then I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Brian Snitker isn’t going to be shaking things up as far as the lineup goes. I think everybody figured that would be the case so I don’t think I’m disappointing too many people with that news.
Anyways, here’s the lineup for the Braves:

This lineup is identical to the one that they had on Saturday, which is the last time that Travis d’Arnaud started for the Braves. So yeah, there are no surprises here and here’s hoping that the top of this lineup can continue to end their respective seasons on a high note at the plate.
Meanwhile, here’s how the Mets are going to look tonight:

Jose Iglesias (and his .380 BABIP) will be leading off as usual for New York and Brandon Nimmo is batting second for the second game in a row. These are all the same players from their series-winning game against the Phillies except there’s been some slight shifts in the lineup from the first two players on down. The only other player who has held onto the same spot in the lineup is none other than Luisangel Acuña, who will be the first Acuña to start a game in Cobb County since Ronald’s final home game of 2024 back on May 20.
Tonight’s game is set to start at 7:20 pm E.T. You can watch on Bally Sports South and listen on 680 The Fan/93.7 FM and on the 680 The Fan app wherever you happen to be.
