If the worst-case scenario actually comes to pass, what (or who) are you blaming? Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Atlanta Braves fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
It’s the final week of the season and unfortunately for the Braves, things have not gone as planned. Almost from the words “Play Ball” that started this 2024 season, things haven’t gone Atlanta’s way in terms of injuries, underperformance, bad luck or anything else you’d like to blame. As a result, we’ve reached the final week of the season and Atlanta could be watching the entire Postseason from the comfort of their own homes for the first time since 2017.
We already know that a lot of y’all already believe that the Braves are going to miss the Postseason. Now it’s time to ask another question: Should the Braves miss out on the Postseason, what do you think is the biggest reason? Of course, injuries have played a massive role in helping to derail what should’ve been a relatively comfortable road to October for the Braves. However, the Braves have gotten in their own way with their performance on the field as well. There’s also been plenty of consternation about some decisions that Brian Snitker has made here in the home stretch of the season and the frustration has even gotten to the point where people are looking at the top dog in the organization himself for not doing enough to cover for this doomsday scenario.
So what do you think is the reason? All you have to do is vote in this poll and we’ll have the answers for you later on this week.
