Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday. Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies will finally return to the lineup today against the Miami Marlins. Albies has been sidelined since late July with a fractured wrist. He will bat from the right side only, as his left hand swing is not entirely comfortable yet.
Albies began a rehab assignment with the Gwinnett Stripers this week and in just two games recorded four hits, a home run, and three RBI.
The Braves have a pivotal weekend series in Miami beginning tonight, so hopefully, Albies will provide the spark that the team needs.
