As usual, the main change for Atlanta concerns who’s catching for today’s game. The lineups for today’s matinee day affair between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds are out. This time, it’s the Braves who are sticking with their usual lineup while the Reds are finally making some changes to their usual setup. Let’s take a look at the lineups now, shall we?
As usual, we go with the Braves first:

This is exactly the same lineup that the Braves had on Tuesday, which (not-so-coincidentally) is the last time that Travis d’Arnaud started at catcher. He’s back in the lineup for today’s game and the Braves are surely figuring that if this lineup has worked so well for the past two days now then surely it should help them get the series victory on their way out of town today.
On the other side, here’s the lineup for the Reds:

Jonathan Indian and Elly De La Cruz are in their normal spots at the top of the order but once you get past that, the lineup has definitely received a shake-up. Spencer Steer has gone from cleanup to third in the lineup, Ty France is now batting fourth, Santiago Espinal is playing his third position (well, two actual field positions. He DH’d on Tuesday) in three games and batting fifth, Noelvi Marte is back at third base and all the way up to sixth in this lineup and Amed Rosario is making his first start of the series after pinch-hitting in last night’s game. Blake Dunn and Luke Maile are also making their first appearances in this series, as David Bell is surely hoping that Chris Sale won’t go through this lineup like a hot knife through butter.
Today’s game starts in just a few hours (1:10 pm E.T.) and can be seen on Bally Sports South and listened to on 680 The Fan and 93.7 FM. Additionally, if you have the 680 The Fan app then you can listen wherever you may be.
