Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday. The Atlanta Braves reinstated catcher Travis d’Arnaud from the paternity list during Thursday’s off day, just in time for a big series in Atlanta.

Chadwick Tromp was recalled to Atlanta during d’Arnaud’s absence, and as expected, he has been optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett. Tromp didn’t make an appearance in his recent stint with the Braves, but he has had a pretty good year on the farm with a .319 average.

The Los Angeles Dodgers signed left-hander Zach Logue to a minor league deal and optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Logue has spent most of this season in the Braves organization.
The Cleveland Guardians placed right-hander Alex Cobb on the 15-day injured list with a blistered pitching hand.
The Miami Marlins designated left-hander Jonathan Bermudez for assignment on Thursday. The club also placed righty John McMillon on the 15-day injured list with elbow tightness.
The Houston Astros placed outfielder Chas McCormick on the 10-day injured list with a hand fracture. The move is retroactive to September 11.
