He just got called up and now he’s in the lineup. The lineups have been released for tonight’s season-series finale between the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals. Atlanta’s going to have a new face at second base for this game, so let’s not waste any more time and start getting into the big change for the day.
Here’s Atlanta’s lineup:

Yep. After trading for him just a few days ago, Cavan Biggio is now on the active roster and making his debut for the Braves as part of the starting lineup. He’ll be batting eighth and playing second base for Atlanta tonight. This is pretty obviously a short-term solution for the Braves, as Brian Snitker is looking for another option to help bridge the gap before Ozzie Albies (hopefully) returns.
Meanwhile, here’s Washington’s lineup:

The only thing that’s the same for this lineup when compared to last night’s look is that CJ Abrams is still leading off. Other than that, there’s been a total reshuffling for the Nationals here as they go for a different look against the left-hander Max Fried.
Tonight’s game is set to start at 6:45 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports South and MLB Network if you live outside of the Braves’ TV market. Additionally, you can listen to the game on 680 The Fan and the 680 The Fan app wherever you are.
