Every day is injury day Well, the Braves hadn’t had a meaningful injury in a while (I kid), so Reynaldo Lopez could only make it through one inning of work against the Nationals.
Lopez seemed fine until he had a ball slip out of his hand and hit Andres Chaparro on the hand. That prompted a visit from the training and coaching staffs, but Lopez stayed in and struck out Jose Tena looking on a pitch at the bottom of the zone. At that point, though, Jesse Chavez began warming up, and replaced Lopez in the bottom of the second.
Stay tuned for updates, which probably won’t be awesome.
