Additionally, it’s Sean Murphy’s turn to play catcher Folks, we got lineups for tonight’s homestand opener for the Atlanta Braves against the Colorado Rockies. There aren’t many earth-shattering changes but we are seeing a couple of guys who we didn’t see in the lineup on Sunday night making an appearance here on Tuesday night. Let’s not waste anymore time, though.
Here’s the lineup for the Braves:

Ramón Laureano has officially cross the 100 wRC+ threshold on the season. While that usually isn’t the type of thing to jump for joy over, it’s impressive considering that his wRC+ while he was in Cleveland earlier this season was 50. Right now, he’s sitting on a 130 wRC+ as a Braves player while hitting .297/.331/.507 with a .359 wRC+. So yeah, he needs to be in there.
While Laureano has crossed the 100 wRC+ threshold, Sean Murphy is still 10 points away. He’s had his moments this season but it’s definitely been an anomaly of a season at the plate for Murphy. Here’s hoping that he’ll be able to finish the season strong. Who knows? Maybe it’ll start tonight for him!
Here’s the lineup for the Rockies:

yan McMahon is out of the lineup and has been replaced at third base by Aaron Schunk, who is batting ninth. Additionally, Drew Romo is batting eighth and DH’ing for Colorado in place of Nolan Jones. Romo has been playing a lot of catcher for Colorado lately so the guy who will be manning the backstop (and batting fifth) for the Rockies tonight will be Jacob Stalllings. Very interesting lineup for the Rockies this evening.
Tonight’s game is scheduled to start at 7:20 pm E.T. and can be seen on Bally Sports South. Additionally, you can listen to the game on 680 The Fan/93.7 FM and on the Braves Radio Network across the South and the 680 The Fan app worldwide.
