He’s missed the past couple of games but he’s back in the lineup tonight. The lineups have been released for the second game of this big four-game series between the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies. While Philadelphia will be missing one of their regulars, the Braves are getting one of their regulars (well, currently regular) back in the lineup for tonight’s game. So, let’s talk about it!

Well, look who’s back! Gio Urshela is in the lineup after missing the past two games due to what had been described as groin soreness. Luke Williams did a fine job stepping in for the veteran Urshela while he was out but now Urshela is good to go and he’s making the start. Batting right ahead of him is Sean Murphy, who is on catching duty for tonight’s contest. Outside of those two changes, the usual guys are in or near their usual spots.

Alec Bohm is out of the lineup after exiting yesterday’s game with an injured hand after taking a very awkward-looking swing. The X-rays were negative so he’s likely going to be on the IL but there’s no telling when he’ll be back for this series. He’s been listed as day-to-day (but aren’t we all?). Edmundo Sosa subbed in for Bohm last night and tonight Sosa is starting at third and batting eighth. Meanwhile, Brandon Marsh has moved up a spot in the order and is playing left field and Johan Rojas is in center field and batting ninth. This last bit is unrelated but yeah, those City Connect uniforms are diabolical.
Tonight’s game is scheduled to start at 6:40 p.m. ET. You can watch it on Bally Sports Southeast and listen to it on 680 The Fan/93.7 FM and on the Braves Radio Network across the South.
