Michael Harris II continues to hit leadoff despite the southpaw on the mound Jorge Soler is back in right field, and hitting second, as the Braves seek a sweep of the Nationals on Sunday afternoon. Sean Murphy is also back after Travis d’Arnaud started last night, hitting eighth. Michael Harris II remains ensconced in the leadoff slot despite the fact that DJ Herz throws with his left hand. I don’t really get why the plan shifted from “Soler leads off” to “Soler hits second with Harris leading off,” but it is what it is.

(I also have no idea how the Braves perceive of the relative ranking of their various right-handed options at the bottom of the lineup or why they keep moving around, but that’s been true all year.)
The Nationals will deploy a pretty familiar set of faces against Reynaldo Lopez and the Braves. Keibert Ruiz moves into the DH spot as Drew Millas takes over as the backstop, and there’s a bit of shuffling here and there, but no huge surprises.

It’s yet another new lineup for Washington, as Millas has not appeared in a lineup for them since the end of June.
