Michael Harris is back in the leadoff spot | D. Ross Cameron-USA TODAY Sports
Jorge Soler is out seemingly due to his hamstring, and Harris is back in the leadoff spot. As the Atlanta Braves face the San Francisco Giants in the final game of the four game series, they look to go for a sweep. One of the main reasons the Braves have been able to win these games is that the offense came through.
The offense came through in a big way yesterday as the Braves hit four HRs, including a welcome back grand slam from Michael Harris.
The Braves hopefully have a new look outfield that will continue to be successful for weeks to come now that Michael Harris is back. Jorge Soler (when healthy) , Michael Harris, and Jarred Kelenic vs righties, and Adam Duvall against lefties seems to be the ideal lineup, but Duvall did not start last time the Braves faced a lefty.
Kelenic has done well against Logan Webb (the Giants starter) in his limited eight at-bats. So far he has a .333 average and .833 OPS against him, while Duvall has a .222 average and .555 OPS. Since Duvall has struggled against righties all season, and Kelenic has done well against Webb, it only makes sense that Kelenic would get the start this afternoon, even with a fully healthy outfield.
Most of the Braves’ players on the roster have fared well against Webb in the past (sans Arcia and Laureano) considering the caliber of pitcher that Webb is. There are ten players with an OPS north of .542 and five players over .675.
Harris has arguably had the most success with a .625 average and 1.875 OPS in eight at-bats. Matt Olson has also had success with a .316 average and .907 OPS in nineteen at-bats.
So, the biggest question marks before the lineup was released were likely who is playing outfield, as well as where in the order they will hit. Jorge Soler left the game yesterday with hamstring tightness. Another question is if Murphy or d’Arnaud will get the start. Murphy got the start yesterday and homered, but has a .143 average and .543 OPS against Webb, while d’Arnaud has a .154 average and .676 OPS against him.
These questions have been answered.

Soler is out of the lineup, seemingly due to the hamstring issue which will move Harris up to the leadoff spot, and Travis d’Arnaud will be getting the start behind the dish. Kelenic will be in LF and Laureano will be in RF.
Other than Mark Canha, who has a 1.171 OPS against Fried, none of the other players have had much success against him. No player on the roster, other than Canha, has an OPS better than .533 against Fried.

Giants lineup
Canha will be starting over Wade Jr. for obvious reasons tonight considering his success against Fried. Conforto, who has struggled to a .095 average against Fried in twenty-one at-bats is also not playing tonight.
First pitch is at 3:45 ET
