MH3 just keeps showing he might be ready for a quick return from his rehab assignment with another very strong performance. Sunday saw Michael Harris II continue to make good contact in his rehab assignment, while AJ Smith-Shawver showed some flashes and Drake Baldwin continues to produce in Triple-A. We also got to see a David McCabe led Mississippi offense jump out all over Pensacola.

Statcast
Michael Harris II, DH: 2-4, R, .435/.500/.565
Drake Baldwin, C: 1-3, 2B, BB, RBI, .288/.420/.468
AJ Smith-Shawver, SP: 3.2 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 BB, 5 K, 5.72 ERA
Daysbel Hernandez, RP: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 2.94 ERA
It was AJ Smith-Shawver’s turn on Sunday and while he struggled a bit, he also looked good at times. AJSS allowed four runs on four hits and four walks over three and two thirds, but he also racked up 11 swing and miss attempts and recorded the five highest velocities in the game - all ranging from 97.5 MPH to 98.2 MPH. Unfortunately he battled his command and threw just 58 of his 92 pitches for strikes on the day and allowed a homer in addition to the four walks. Domingo Gonzalez followed and he allowed a run over two and a third innings before a scoreless inning from Daysbel Hernandez and another from Dylan Lee.
On the hitting side Michael Harris continued to stand out, going two for four with a run scored, but he was just crushing the ball. MH3 recorded exit velocities of 106.6 MPH or better three separate times in this game alone. He wasn't the only Striper to put up a bigger exit velocity, as Drake Baldwin hit 106 MPH himself as he ended up one for three with a double, walk and RBI. Nacho Alvarez had a hitless game, going 0-3, but walking and scoring a pair of runs on the day.

Both Nick Ward and Jacob Godman were 0-1 but each walked three times in the win, and the duo combined to score three runs.
