Atlanta Braves news and notes from Tuesday. Atlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II is finally gearing up for his return after going down on June 14 with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. Harris made his first rehab start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, where he recorded one hit and one walk in four at-bats.
He is eligible for activation on August 14 and is expected to return around that time, assuming his rehabbing goes smoothly.
Michael Harris is eligible for activation on Aug. 14. Snit expects Harris to rejoin the roster around that date. He also expects Reynaldo Lopez to be ready when he's eligible to be activated on Aug. 18— Mark Bowman (@mlbbowman) August 6, 2024
Harris is expected to DH for a few games before playing in the field and will hopefully rejoin the Braves on their upcoming road trip.

Miami Marlins southpaw Jesus Luzardo is still at least six weeks away from throwing. He was shut down on June 16 due to a stress reaction in his lower back.
Houston Astros pitcher Framber Valdez was one out away from a no-hitter before Corey Seager’s two-run bomb.
