Across 3.2 innings, Anderson allowed four earned runs — all of which came in the first two innings. However, Anderson only walked one and struck out four on the night.
Trailing 3-0 headed into the home half of the first, Gwinnett got one of those runs back as Nacho Alvarez Jr. homered over the left field wall to make it a 3-1 game. After Charlotte tacked on an additional run to their lead to make it 4-1, the Stripers managed to tie things up in the bottom of the frame.

In his second extra-base-hit of the evening, Alvarez Jr. came through with a double to plate Velazquez, cutting the deficit to 4-3. Alvarez would come around to score after Yuli Gurriel reached on an error to knot things up at 4 apiece.
The Knights would retake the lead in the top of the fourth inning, as Gwinnett reliever Jackson Stephens allowed one run to make it 5-4 in favor of Charlotte which would hold as the final.

Despite this, the Stripers offense was equally as quiet as the Knights plated 2 runs in the top of the seventh inning which would hold on as the final to sweep Gwinnett on the day.

After Cody Milligan singled to move Ogans up to third, Sebastian Rivero singled into right field to plate both Ogans and Milligan, extending the Mississippi lead to 4-0. The final run for the Braves would come on a Bradon Parker double that scored Rivero to make it a 5-0 game.
