It’s the first start of July for d’Arnaud and the only change for Atlanta this evening. The lineups are out for tonight’s game between the Atlanta Braves and the San Francisco Giants. The Braves themselves appear to be staying the course with their current lineup and there’s only been one change made. We’re still going to talk about it though because it’s baseball season and this is the type of stuff that’s fun to talk about, right?
Anyways, here’s Atlanta’s lineup:

As you can tell by both reading the title of this article and the embedded Tweet, the only major change that the Braves have made this evening to their lineup is that Travis d’Arnaud will be getting his regular start in relief of Sean Murphy. D’Arnaud went one-for-four in his most recent start back on June 29 against the Pirates and he last homered on June 22 against the Yankees. I don’t know about y’all but I could sure go for another one of those homers from d’Arnaud. Meanwhile, Orlando Arcia still has yet to recover from the abscessed tooth that he was dealing with yesterday so Zack Short is getting another start at shortstop.
Here’s how the Giants are looking:
Old friend Jorge Soler is still leading off and danger man Heliot Ramos is still batting third. Other than that, the Giants have made a bunch of changes in anticipation of facing off against a left-hander in the form of Chris Sale this evening. David Villar is now playing first, Curt Casali is at catcher, Luis Matos is in left field, Tyler Fitzgerald is now playing second base and Austin Slater is in right. The deck has truly been reshuffled.
Tonight’s game starts at 7:20 P.M. E.T. and can be watched on Bally Sports South and listened to on 93.7 FM/680 The Fan.
