Reynaldo López will take the mound in game one of Wednesday’s doubleheader as the Atlanta Braves look to even up their series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Veteran right-hander Kyle Gibson will get the start for St. Louis.
Orlando Arcia is out of the Braves lineup for the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader. Arcia left Monday’s series opener after experiencing dizziness. Brian Snitker said that Arcia underwent tests at a local hospital Tuesday and everything checked out but he remains day-to-day. Zack Short will make his first start at shortstop for the Braves.

For the Cardinals, Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado return to the lineup after sitting out the series opener. Willson Contreras is back behind the plate and will catch Gibson.
