The Braves and Cardinals are playing Monday night in some pretty high temperatures. Atlanta Braves shortstop Orlando Arcia exited Monday’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals due to dizziness. Zack Short took over at shortstop in place of Arcia.

There was a heat advisory for the St. Louis area on Monday and the temperature was still in the low 90s in the seventh inning. Arcia was 0-for-2 at the plate with a strikeout. It doesn’t seem like the situation is serious and he will likely be back in the lineup Tuesday.
The Braves are trailing the Cardinals 4-1 in the seventh inning. All four of those runs by St. Louis came in the third. Austin Riley hit his eighth home run of the season in the fifth to account for Atlanta’s only run so far.
