The new looks continue as the Braves try to find a solution at the plate The lineups are out for tonight’s game between the Atlanta Braves and the Baltimore Orioles. The Braves are still trying to figure out a lineup that works for them so there’s another new look on deck for Atlanta tonight.
So, let’s not waste any more time. Let’s take a look at this lineup for the Braves:

For the first time since Ronald Acuña Jr.'s injury, the two players who have assumed the role of leadoff hitter are batting 1-2 at the top of the order. Harris is getting the nod at leadoff hitter since Albert Suárez is a right-hander but Ozzie Albies is batting right behind him in second. Austin Riley moves down to third, Matt Olson is in his usual spot batting cleanup and then Marcell Ozuna is batting fifth while the rest of the lineup is about what you'd expect.
I would say that it's a bit questionable to have both Harris and Albies batting 1-2 next to each other but to be fair, the majority of the lineup has been performing questionably so at this point it's like you may as well try it since nothing else has really worked? Let's just hope for the best!

Seems like Baltimore's usual leadoff hitter has gotten the day off, as Gunnar Henderson will be starting tonight's game on the bench. Jorge Mateo is replacing Henderson at shortstop and Jordan Westburg is replacing him at the top of the order as well. Despite homering against Fried back in 2023, Cedric Mullins is also starting tonight's game on the bench and that's probably due to his nightmarish numbers against left-handers this season. Anthony Santander also homered against Fried back in 2023 and he'll be batting cleanup, so there's that.
Tonight's game starts at 6:35 P.M. E.T. and can be seen on Bally Sports South and listened to on 680 The Fan/93.7 FM.
