Jamel Johnson at V103
Lifelong Falcons fan Jamel Johnson joins The Falcoholic! Editor’s Note: Jamel Johnson joined The Falcoholic in early May of 2024. Please give him a warm welcome!
An Atlanta native, Jamel was born and raised on the Southside of Fulton County. Before he could even walk, his mom got them season tickets to Atlanta Falcons games, scoring seats in the 100 section, close to all the action.
As he grew older, he started learning the game, leading to him playing football himself. Playing almost every position except quarterback, Jamel dominated rec ball, and even though he didn’t take snaps under center, he tried his best to mimic the styles of his favorite player: Michael Vick.

From the days of Michael Vick to Matt Ryan, and Roddy White to Julio Jones, Jamel has been through the Falcons’ ups, and many downs. His extensive football knowledge influenced him to create a YouTube channel called MelGotGame after graduating high school, delivering content that’s dedicated to covering the Falcons and the rest of the league.
